Despite its name, no structure stands at the site called Xiatana's Pyramid today--this place, located in the heart of the Great Desert, was the site of one of the great battles of the Godswar. In that battle, Xiatana, Merustris and Magarus fought Tyakan and Azarban; when Magarus was killed, the explosion that ensued leveled the pyramid which was the Goddess Xiatana's home. However, there remain many underground tunnels beneath the sandy mound where the pyramid once stood; Azarban's death, which also occurred during the battle at this site, is said to have filled the tunnels with great treasures.
