Parnamm's Pass

Parnamm's Pass is the most direct way of traversing Beldar Peaks; it is frequently used by travelers going from Kranomyrr to the South-Eastern region of Lynncair, or vice versa.  However, tribes of hostile Sereti live in the hills and mountains to either side of the Pass, and frequently waylay caravans attempting to make the crossing; it is a must to have a sufficiently-large armed escort if one intends on traversing the Pass without any trouble.

The pass is named after Parnamm the Bold, a mighty warrior and one of the Elite Stormguard in the olden days, who attempted to cross the Pass by himself while carrying out a task of the utmost importance for his King.  Parnamm was ambushed by a large force of Sereti, and while much of their blood was spilled that day, the hero was eventually overcome by enemies wielding crossbows and magic, who forced him over the edge of a cliff up in the High Pass.
