The Prophecy of Revelation was recited by Iyanar Stargleam at the burial of the Arch-Enchanter Nabul Gyrazzi, creator of the Shardstaff, as Gyrazzi’s tomb was being sealed. The royal scribe, who was present at the burial, recorded Stargleam’s words once he realized what was transpiring; the following has been copied from the royal scribe’s original notes, which are preserved at the Monastery of Cimur:

“As lightning strikes in ten-years-ten,

Gyrazzi, here, shall rise again;

His secret, then, one long concealed,

Shall by his voice become revealed.”

Many have argued that the relative simplicity of this prophecy shows that it was just the product of Stargleam’s imagination and a plea for attention, not truly a prophetic utterance, while others claim that the prophecy does not, in fact, pertain to the location of the Shardstaff at all.
