The Encyclopedia of Lynncair

Unlike the South-Eastern region of Lynncair, the South-West lacks diversity in terms of geographic features. Bounded to the East by the Trivimar Range and the South Kranomyrr Road, and to the North by the Amon-Dur Mountains--which stretch West all the way to the Moritum Sea--the region is defined by tall mountains and the aptly-named Endless Desert.

Located at the point where the Amon-Dur Mountains and the Trivimar Range meet is the city of Arakast, considered by many to be the last bastion of civilization North of the Endless Desert; those wishing to venture into the Desert often make their last supply-stops there. On the other side of the Desert, up against Lynncair's South-Western coast, are the settlements of Kimur, Ulmath and Tolangar. These three locales are supported in terms of trade by the Isles of Dretorya, a collection of lush, jungle-filled islands located just several miles off the South-Western-most point of Lynncair, where Tolangar is.

Consisting of nothing but arid desert and unforgiving mountains, the South-West region of Lynncair is the antithesis of hospitality. It is a place where only the bravest and most capable treasure-hunters dare venture, in search of the legendary caches of riches beyond imagination. the casual adventure is advised to stay away if they value their life.
